madden 11 is coming

with drew brees recently being named to be the cover of this year's madden 11, the new trailer for the game was also released. definitely like the simpler attitude ea sports took this year, what with simplifying plays and shortening the game. like it says, "madden 11 will make every football game before it obsolete!"hit your local gamestop aug. 10th.

chris brown (feat. tyga) - holla at me REPOST W/ DOWNLOAD

like you haven't seen it yet. not sure how simply[too]classy feels about chris brown's rapping (ahchoo, bless me twice? really?) always nice to stay with what you know, but guess you have to expand every once in a while. the little guy in at the 1:00 mark puts in worrrrrk. nonetheless, if you need something to bump to and get the people going, hit this.

had to repost with the download, get it here.

movie to watch #1 - holy rollers

about to post some trailers of movies you should get around to see. first up, holy rollers. movie tells the story of sam gold, a young hasidic jew who has to battle the constraints of his religion with the struggles of growing up and discovering an individual identity. coming from a poor background, gold finds himself working as a drug mule from europe to america in order to make a money.

the more i see movies with jesse eisenberg in (adventureland, zombieland), the more i like the young actor. although he's definitely in the michael cera awkward teen mold, he seems to have an internal angst that makes his characters more real.

holy rollers hits theaters may 21st, mark it.

b.o.b feat. rivers cuomo of weezer - magic

talk about your cross-genre music. b.o.b's third single 'magic' off of his new album the adventures of bobby ray features rivers cuomo of weezer fame. the team up of this rap-rock duo results in a song that will be all over the radio and be stuck in the minds of every teen during this summer.

rhymefest feat. random fan - brand new

talk about love for the fans. the severely underrated rhymefest performs brand new off his blue collar album when he has the brilliant idea to sub a fan in for kanye's verse. and who does he pick but... a drunk man wearing a track jacket! little does the audience know that this man knows his ye, and spits the verse perfectly. enjoy.

it's true, we don't know anything about women

in esquire's latest issue focused on women, the magazine lists the 1,000 things you don't know about women. taken from regular women across the nation, the article provides some great insight on the inner workings of the female mind. for our female readers, are all of these true? here some favorites:

"No. 184: You have our interest if you pick us up in a convertible. You have our hearts if there is a hair tie and/or brush in the car. —Beth Hurtubise, 26, Chicago
No. 25: When we ask you to be honest, and your honest response is something you know we will be upset about, fib just a little. But only because you love us. —Kelly Heintz, 23, Fresno, California
No. 111: When you offer to pay for something and we refuse, insist one more time. Always insist. —Cristina Luiggi, 24, New York
No. 209: When you agree to take yoga with us, it's endearing. But endearing never got anybody laid. —Ainsley Drew Nelson, 28, New York
No. 22: Turning into our mothers is an inevitable fear we live with on a daily basis. Calling this to our attention at any point is a terrible idea. Just don't do it. —Maura E. McGill, 29, New York"

iphone 4.0 leaked (or found)

so apparently the people apple entrusts with their highly valuable secrets and prototypes aren't worth a damn. the new iphone was recently lost and then found in Redwood City, CA. the prototype was disassembled to validate that it was indeed an apple product, and when all the confirmations had been made, the new iphone hit the internet. and i have to say, i am getting excited already, because it looks like its definitely going to surpass iphone 3GS. presenting to you, iphone 4.0, here are the new features:

• Front-facing video chat camera
• Improved regular back-camera (the lens is quite noticeably larger than the iPhone 3GS)
• Camera flash
• Micro-SIM instead of standard SIM (like the iPad)
• Improved display. It's unclear if it's the 960x640 display thrown around before—it certainly looks like it, with the "Connect to iTunes" screen displaying much higher resolution than on a 3GS.
• What looks to be a secondary mic for noise cancellation, at the top, next to the headphone jack
• Split buttons for volume
• Power, mute, and volume buttons are all metallic

and finally, the video to accompany

BIG SEAN INTERVIEW W/ COMPLEX MAGAZINE

Big Sean "Supa Dupa Lemonade" from dante marshall on Vimeo.

along with j.cole, big sean is one of my favorite new rappers. he's been on his grind for the past couple years, but being signed to kanye's g.o.o.d. music label and debuting an album/mixtape soon, big sean has got big things in store. naturally, he was on XXL's freshman for 2010 cover (most stylish), but he's got rhymes for days, and his cockiness is just entertaining enough that it isn't annoying

anyhow, big sean recently was interviewed by complex magazine, here are a couple snippets after the break

patrik ervell moving models

GQ Online recently pushed this website brought to you by Patrik Ervell, where the company really takes advantage of flash. if you ever are looking at magazines or style blogs/websites online and wonder, "i've always wished that i could see how people move in those clothes," this is the place for you. on this website you'll find a few models moving about in the clothes that they are modeling. it's an interesting concept that definitely beats looking at static clothes or models. take a look.

just when you think Detox couldn't have any more hype...

Scott Storch Reunites With Dr. Dre and Jay-Z For "Under Pressure."

detox, dr. dre's long awaited album, recently acknowledged that grammy-winning producer scott storch will be collaborating with dre and jay-z for a it's upcoming single "under pressure." storch, for those that don't know, as work with artists such as the Roots, timbaland, and 50 cent, to name a few.

for the full announcement, click here.

as much as i respect dr. dre for all the work and the major major influence, i have to take any article that i read about detox with a huge grain of salt. this album has been in the making since 2003, and has been so hyped up that i have serious doubts that it will ever reach the level of excellence that people are expecting. i have no doubt that it will be a good album, filled with great production and rappers that only dr. dre could obtain, but if this album turns out to be a blunder, it will be quite the blemish on dre's resume.
